Bethanie Graduated from 6th grade!!!!

This is Bethanie with her principal Jeremy Clark. He has been at Linden Park for 2 years now. He is doing a great job!! Bethanie has really liked him.

This is one of Bethanie's best friends Molly Holt!!! They have so much fun together. They both look so beautiful on their graduation day don't they!!??

Now, the best for the last!!! This is Bethanie's teacher, Mrs. Mary Ulrich!!!! She is the best 6th grade teacher in the whole world!!!! Ed had her in 6th grade, then Tasha had her and now Bethanie. We consider it a privilege to have had her in our lives and that every one of my children got to have her. She is an amazing teacher who cares and loves her students!!! I will surely miss her and her influence in my children's lives. Thank you Mrs. Ulrich!!!!!

Bethanie we are so proud of you for all you have accomplished and that you have graduated the 6th grade. You have done a great job!!!! Keep up the good work and now you are half way there!!!!!!!

Last Day with Students!!!

Today was my last day with Students!!!!! It was sad in some ways and great in most ways!! So I only have 3 more days of school left. I am so excited!!!! It was hard to say goodbye to the 6th Graders, because they will go off to Jr. High and so we won't see them much. That is o.k. though. y 5th Grade class gave me and the other Title 1 Tutor thank you cards and a box of chocolates (That I can't eat!!) and my 6th Grade class gave us all thank you cards too. It is nice to feel appreciated!! Monday I will only work part day because I am going to Bethanie's track meet and Tuesday I will only work part day because it is Bethanie's 6th Grade Graduation!!! Wednesday I will work all day and then Thursday (the last day of school) I am doing Field Day at Bethanie's school all morning. So it will be a really busy week!!!! I love to stay involved in my children's lives.

Schools almost out!!!

Yea!!!!!! School is almost out!!! I only have 1 week and 1 day left with my students, and only 2 weeks and 1 day left of school!!!!! I can't wait for summer break!! Can you tell I am excited. I have a count down on my white board at school. :) Only 20 more days until my braces come off too!!!! Only 2 more weeks until I get an alone weekend with my husband!!!!!!!!!!!! We are going away for Memorial Day weekend!!! Just the two of us!!! I am sooooooooo excited!!! Can you tell I have lots of things I am excited about coming up!!?? Watch for them on my blog!!!! The 2nd Chance Prom

Doug and I went to the 2nd Chance Prom last night!!! It was soooooooo much fun!!! The 2nd Chance Prom is a dance that the local radio station KLCE puts on every year for all of us old kids who never got to go to Prom or want to go with the one we love now!! It is always around the end of April. In the past we have only gotten to go once because it usually has fallen on a weekend we had all of the kids. But, this year it was on the 4th weekend and we didn't have most of them. It was so much fun!!! (did I mention that already?) We danced all the slow songs (even the country ones) and just loved being together. Doug and I went out and bought me a new dress to wear. It was RED!!!!! I love red!!! The very first slow song that they played was "Lady in Red" so that was fun and we of course danced to that!!!! :) I love dancing and Doug knows it so he loves me enough that he goes and dances with me!!! :) :) I love him for that!!!!!!!! Next year a whole bunch of us should go!!! O.k so I hate this picture, but nobody was home to take our picture so I had to do it myself. Doug looks great and I have a crappy smile in it. But it works!!! We did get our picture taken at the Prom and when I get them back I will post it. :)

IT SNOWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It snowed yesterday!! That is right you heard me, IT SNOWED!!!! I am so sick of the snow!!! KLCE played White Christmas. I laughed hard to that!!! Did I mention I am sick of the snow!!?? It is supposed to snow first part of May too. It has snowed 7 months now, and if it does snow it May it will be 8 months!!! GO AWAY SNOW!!!!!!!!!!

Tasha gets her braces off!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tasha got her braces off today!!!! She is so happy to have them off. I am so jealous. I get mine off in 6 weeks though so I am very happy!!!!!!!! Tasha looks so beautiful!!! What a young lady she is. I am proud of everything she is and has done in her life. I love her very much!!!!! WAY TO GO TASHA!!!!!

Spring Break!!!!!!

It is our spring break right now!!! It has been snowing and raining and the wind has been blowing. Hopefully you can see by the picture. So not a lot of outdoor activity. Monday I had to do the yearbook for Bethanie's elementary school. I got it done!!!!!!!! Tuesday I only had a few things I had to do, like drop off that yearbook kit, so I just did nothing all day. I stayed in my pajamas until noonish!!!! I finally showered and got ready and ran my errands. I went an rented a chick flick "Becoming Jane". Got a diet Dr. Pepper and some popcorn and laid in bed on my heating pad and watched it. Wednesday Doug is going to be home so that he can go get the Kuna kids and we will have them the rest of Spring Break. I am waiting now to go out with my sister-in-law Pam. We are going to go do girl stuff!!! Then on Thursday and Friday we are just going to hang out with the kids and do whatever we want. Oh yea Tasha has been babysitting and earning money this week. That is good for her, but I have to drive her over to the other side of town and she has to be there by 8:00am everyday and so I have to drive her. So no sleeping in for me!!! :(
